If I stay, the cost would be reasonable but I would be supporting Autodesk’s treatment of its customers. However, I have not found a software combination that offers the same functionality as the Suite at a better (or even similar) cost to my current Suite fees. I could move to alternatives such as Houdini, Modo, C4D, etc. If I were to give up on Autodesk now and later decide to jump back in, my annual cost would skyrocket to $2,500 per year. Moving to subscription would guarantee me a cost of $895 per year for 3 years. I currently have the Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate (Maya, Max, Mud, MB).
